Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment – 2018

Uttar Pradesh Police is the law enforcement agency of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh headquartered in Allahabad. The Uttar Pradesh Police is headed by Director General of Police (DGP) Shri Jagmohan Yadav (IPS) of 1983 Batch. UP Police is the largest police force in the world working under a single command. It was formed in 1863 as the Office of the Inspector General of Police, Uttar Pradesh under the Police Act of 1861.

Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) has released notification for filling up 41,520 vacancies for the post of Constable in Resident Citizen Police and Reserved Territorial Armed Constabulary.

Posts Details :-

Resident Citizen Police – 23,520 Posts (Categories wise Posts Details : – Unreserved – 11,761 Posts, OBC – 6,350 Posts, SC – 4,939 Posts & ST – 470 Posts).

Reserved Territorial Armed Constabulary – 18,000 Posts (Unreserved – 9000 Posts, OBC – 4860 Posts, SC – 3780 Posts & ST – 360 Posts).

Selection process will be based on Written examination, Documents verification, Physical Standard Test(PST), Physical Eligibility Test (PET).
